Parking on an unsighted bend
Parking on a bend with poor visibility is generally unsafe and often prohibited.
Core advice
- Do not park where sight is limited for approaching traffic
- Choose a lay‑by or a straight with long sight lines
- Keep far to the right and as far off the carriageway as possible
